I liked MNEMONICDEVICES, though. Glad you enjoyed the movie, Huygens!Colum Amoryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15026647589873845732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7869983234842507044.post-21529581169606968792020-11-14T10:05:55.732-05:002020-11-14T10:05:55.732-05:0014:13

Although I, too, had a problem with ONGOD, which I've never heard or used. 27A Lane Hugger was an amusing clue for KENT, even though it didn't fool me for a second. I threw Ahituna in at 28A where AVOCADO goes, but it was quickly repaired with crosses. SOITCOMESTOTHIS was a funny long down, and for some reason, I always like a reference to the gray-eyed goddess, ATHENA, but found it odd to see her next to YEASTY (sorry). Nice to see ERICIDLE in the grid. Thumbs up from this commenter. (On a side note, Sue and I watched "Leave No Trace" last night on a recommendation from Colum and quite enjoyed it.)Huygenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14539030936919012404noreply@blogger.com
