I loved the theme, with seriously strong themers.Colum Amoryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15026647589873845732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7869983234842507044.post-10896561934969989912017-10-25T07:49:19.826-04:002017-10-25T07:49:19.826-04:006:22

(Hey, I've never really liked that spelling variant, but a valid Scrabble word is a valid review comment word, am I right?)

I really enjoyed this one, and I was right with you, Mr. Kingdon, smiling at LECAR. It was a good twenty years ahead of its time. Well... in America, anyway.Horace Fawleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04676932991883111336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7869983234842507044.post-53457820401662674582017-10-25T04:39:47.141-04:002017-10-25T04:39:47.141-04:0012:24

PICKUPLINE was certainly the best of the theme answers. Nice to see AKRONOHIO in there in its entirety. My only slowdown came at 5D, where I'd entered WINDfarms at first before getting OONA and AWED, which changed it to WINDPOWER. I liked that PAPALBULL crosses PIUS.Huygenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14539030936919012404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7869983234842507044.post-27286114004001094912017-10-25T00:33:01.486-04:002017-10-25T00:33:01.486-04:0014:01

Oh, and took me some crosses to get PAPALBULL, partly because I was stuck on "motu proprio" (which I realize is not the right number of letters, and is sort of a case of too much knowledge not really helping anyway).Jim Kingdonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01857308320156877253noreply@blogger.com
