I live about 21 miles as the crow flies from Washington State. I assure you it's absolutely no stretch to call it Washington State... nobody calls it anything else.

-Martin Ashwood-SmithAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7869983234842507044.post-43648809179409451432015-01-11T17:50:54.851-05:002015-01-11T17:50:54.851-05:0030:26 (FWOE)

I did like THEMRS (7A "My old lady") as well as the general look of the puzzle. Of the long answers, TRANSACTIONDATE took the longest for me.Huygenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14539030936919012404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7869983234842507044.post-59624113928734646012015-01-11T10:20:09.867-05:002015-01-11T10:20:09.867-05:00I love it! We, too, had oNICE, and that O led me to guess "toNTO," because I thought that might have been the name of his horse, and as I was driving and only responding to clues read aloud, I didn't notice that "patches" wasn't capitalized. We struglled through this one, but enjoyed it.
Horace Fawleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04676932991883111336noreply@blogger.com
