The theme was fine, and the fill nice. Howard STERN gets a mention, as does DANTE. PELEG is now known to me, as I've recently, within the last two years, read the tome in which he appears. I liked the PRUDES/PRIGS cross. I never heard of AMYS Kitchen brand, and so originally had NArES for 34D Focus of onomastics (NAMES), but that was quickly corrected.
