I didn't know of him, but I assumed it was entirely due to my sports ignorance. I starred 33D Resell, as concert tickets (SCALP): Are we supposed to say that? I got PASSIONWEEK with only a couple of crosses, and I can assure Horace that my priorities are probably where his are in regard to this. CORPSE was nice since we're so close to THEWITCHINGHOUR (well, Halloween, anyway), as was CRYPTS. Kramer would have liked the mention of MIDLER; even the clue (9D Bette of "Beaches") would please him. How about a Beatles reference (DAYTRIPPER) being adjacent to LORD (53A Almighty): weren't they bigger than Him at one time? How come you don't know Clu Gulager?!?!Huygenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14539030936919012404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7869983234842507044.post-29601657926566351502014-10-20T23:02:46.065-04:002014-10-20T23:02:46.065-04:00Any puzzle I can finish in under 10 minutes is imm...Any puzzle I can finish in under 10 minutes is immediately suspect.Desireé Knickerzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16501402628288033739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7869983234842507044.post-81378510915365887302014-10-20T22:02:01.968-04:002014-10-20T22:02:01.968-04:004:18. I believe the bizarre shape of the grid and the vast number of 3-letter clues on this Monday puzzle (and maybe HUARTE as well) has to do with the theme of this week, which see in the info button. Because there is a week-long theme and a meta coming up on Saturday, I will assume the awkwardness came about from an as yet unclear requirement. That being said, the theme is straightforward, and thus I'm not entirely pleased with the fact that the times are placed at the beginning or at the end of the answers willy-nilly.

Otherwise, I liked DELEGATE (initially had DEmocrat when I was entering only down clues), and CRYPTS.Colum Amoryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15026647589873845732noreply@blogger.com
