I had aLE for 60A Phillies' div., because I don't know too much about sports, but luckily I knew enough that aBAERS made no sense at all for 60D, so eventually the N went in where it belongs. The other square in the west was the final E of ETALIAE, because it's ridiculous, but I guessed correctly, regardless, since PEELE seemed right for the cross. TATE Modern took all of the crosses, and 16D Place holders? (ATLASES) took me quite a while to get. I didn't know the ONMARS answer, and needed a surprising number of crosses for that, too.
